For this limited release through EQL, each bottle of ONE OF US Cuishe bears three personal signatures: those of Jacinto Gutiérrez, third-generation Maestro Mezcalero, and founders Roza and Marco De Molina. Three people brought together by a shared devotion to bringing the finest sipping mezcal to the world stage.

Roza and Marco’s search began in Oaxaca with the hope of finding the ultimate artist behind the craft of mezcal. After days of searching across countless distilleries in Oaxaca, it was fate that led them to Jacinto in Santiago Matatlán, whose surrender to the rhythm of the earth, meticulous attention to detail, and God-given instinct became the spirit of ONE OF US.

Honoring generations of Zapotec craftsmanship, Cuishe “The Wild One” is crafted from 14-year-old wild-grown Cuishe agave, slowly cooked in an earthen pit, milled with a tahona, and fermented in open-air wooden vats using deep-well water and no added yeast. It is distilled twice in copper at our own palenque, capturing the truest character of the agave and the unmistakable signature of its maker.
